Fly into the Gunnison / Crested Butte Airport (GUC) on either United Airlines (year-round, connects via the Denver International Airport) or American Airlines (winter only, connects via the Dallas / Fort Worth airport). Skyview Terrace is a 40-minute drive from the Gunnison / Crested Butte Airport. Rental Cars are available at the Gunnison / Crested Butte Airport through Dollar, Hertz and Avis. Or take the Alpine Express shuttle for a nominal charge from the Gunnison / Crested Butte Airport direct to Skyview Terrace in Mt. Crested Butte.

Drive
Driving directions from the Gunnison / Crested Butte Airport:
Head north (straight ahead) out of the airport until you reach Hwy 50. Head east (right) on Hwy 50 for just a few blocks. Then turn north (left) onto Hwy 135. Take 135 for approx 30 miles. Hwy 135 turns into Sixth Street once you reach Crested Butte. Stay on this road. Once you pass the gas station on the right, the road becomes Gothic Road. Stay on Gothic to Mt. Crested Butte. Take the second right after the "Welcome to Mt. Crested butte" sign onto Castle Road. Skyview Terrace will be on the left side. We are Unit B. Park in the garage or the driveway.

Driving directions from Denver (winter):
From Denver International Airport, take interstate 70 west, exit to highway 470 west, highway 285 south to Fairplay then Poncha Springs, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte. Hwy 135 turns into Sixth Street once you reach Crested Butte. Stay on this road. Once you pass the gas station on the right, the road becomes Gothic Road. Stay on Gothic to Mt. Crested Butte. Take the second right after the "Welcome to Mt. Crested butte" sign onto Castle Road. Skyview Terrace will be on the left side. We are Unit B. Park in the garage or the driveway.
Total trip time: approximately 4 1/2 hours

Driving directions from Denver (summer):
In the summer, you can enjoy a more scenic drive over roads that are only open seasonally. Always check with www.cotrip.org before heading out for current road conditions. A very popular route is over Cottonwood Pass, which is known for it's stunning fall foliage. From Denver International Airport, take interstate 70 west, exit to highway 470 west, highway 285 south. When you reach the stop sign in Johnson Village where you have to go either north (right) or south(left), head north (right) until you get to Buena Vista. Turn west (left) at light with the sign reading "Cottonwood Pass". The road up the pass will be paved and the road down the pass will be dirt / gravel (but suitable for cars). At the end of Cottonwood Pass take a left on the paved road (County Road 742). Follow CR 742 for approximately 20 miles. When you reach Hwy 135, go north (right) for about 18 miles to Crested Butte. Hwy 135 turns into Sixth Street once you reach Crested Butte. Stay on this road. Once you pass the gas station on the right, the road becomes Gothic Road. Stay on Gothic to Mt. Crested Butte. Take the second right after the "Welcome to Mt. Crested butte" sign onto Castle Road. Skyview Terrace will be on the left side. We are Unit B. Park in the garage or the driveway.
